The author of Ecclesiastes informs (perhaps warns) us that "Of making many books there is no end ..." I wonder what he might have said in response to the printing press or to the exponential proliferation of websites, blogs and social media commentary on what seems to be virtually every subject. He did, however, precede his commentary on the plethora of parchments with these words: The words of the wise are like goads, and like nails firmly fixed are the collected sayings; they are given by one Shepherd. Perhaps, then, it may be profitable to selectively attend to the words of a few who have harvested some of the wisdom found in the Book. Not being a particularly original thinker I have found that along the way I have benefited from the insights of others. So, with that in mind I pass along a few websites I have founding stimulating.
